Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if I need treatment?
The need for treatment is generally based on your tolerance for insects. A few ants here and there do not bother some, but one ant is too many for others. There are some pests that demand action whether you want to or not: termites, german roaches, yellow jackets and brown recluses for example.
How often should I have my house treated?

Many companies offer once-a-month treatments for personal residences, this is too much. Once or twice a year treatments work for many of our customers. Stopping the pests before they enter your home is key, our Quarterly and Total Home Protection Plan provides the best protection against most general pest found in Missouri.
How safe are your treatments?

We would not apply any treatment to your home that would be harmful to your family, pets, or plants. Our goal is to use FDA labeled, reduced risk application whenever possible.
Can I be at the house during the treatment?

Yes. Only flea treatments require you to leave for around 4 hours. Most of our interior treatments are odorless as well. Roaches, ants, mice, termites and just about everything else can be taken care of while you continue your daily activities.
My neighbor has termites, should I treat my house?

Just because your neighbor has termites does not mean the termites will automatically come to your home. Termites are everywhere and your neighbor having them is an important sign to help you realize they are close. It is our recommendation to have your home inspected annually to catch any termite problem before it can become a big problem.
Is there anything I can do to help prevent termites?

It is recommended that you have at least 4-6 inches of concrete visible around the perimeters of your home. While a termite treatment will stop termites, it is advantageous to the homeowner to help prevent creating conducive areas for termite infestation. Clutter, mulch, woodpiles, shrubs against the structure, and soil/siding contact are all conducive to termite and general pest infestation. Reduction of these problem areas will help reduce your chance of infestation and will allow a more thorough treatment.
Does exterior foam or any other exterior covering hinder treatments?

All of our treatments are targeted, however many of the general pests in this area will be eliminated when a perimeter treatment is performed. Our termite treatment, whether it's our liquid of bait application, will target only termites.
